We have been attending Financial Peace University. It is by Dave Ramsey, and it is excellent! So many good ideas on how to manage money. My work and Zion’s Bank has been hosting it. I understand that they are thinking of starting a second session of the classes. They last for 13 weeks, and is well worth it! We found out things that we never knew before. There is information on budgeting, insurances, investments, etc., etc. Just excellent! So if anyone is interested in attending, let me know and I will relay to those that are thinking of hosting it. Also, we just found out that there is a town hall meeting that he is hosting, which is free. There are locations all across the country that are hosting the event. They are mostly at Christian churches, I did see one location in Malad, ID that was at an LDS church house. But in our area, it looks like there is one at Christian Life Church in Layton.
