This Sunday, May 17, everyone is invited to take an Sunday afternoon walk any time from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. It will hopefully be great weather, so just go out for a stroll. It’s a chance to visit with neighbors and meet new ones. 
As an added touch, feel free to take some cookies with you and you can share them with people you run into. If you’re not up to walking, feel free to stay put on your porch and visit with others as they walk by.
Walking: optional.
Cookies: optional, but tasty.
Visiting: mandatory.

What a great idea! Kudos to whoever thought of it. My husband and I will not be home Sunday p.m., but our son, David, may be on the porch with the cookies.
