Last week I went with the Johnsons to get strawberries at Day Farms in Layton. They have u-pick and from what I understand you can get fresh strawberries all summer. Bring some scissors and cut them from the stem – they’re beautiful (wish I had taken pictures).
For most of my adult life I’ve wanted to grow asparagus and raspberries. I planted raspberry bushes this year and discovered that Day Farms has asparagus (no need to grow it myself). They also have: beans, eggplant, peppers, pumpkins, strawberries, tomatoes, and even honey.
