We went to the open house for the Oquirrh Mountain LDS temple (the one that had lightening strike the angel Moroni recently. I guess we can’t joke about getting struck by lightening for saying something we shouldn’t say anymore). It was so modern and beautiful. The company my cousin works for did the beautiful woodwork. I loved all the marble and the chandeliers. It was also very peaceful. I walked in negative and walked out happy again.
Unlike church buildings, there’s quite a bit of art on the walls. I noted that at least one was by Kaysville artist LeConte Stewart. A landscape. I also loved the creation murals in two of the rooms. Go and take the tour if you can!
