We visited St. George over Labor Day weekend. I learned that Marsha was at the same Tuacahn performance and that she too is probably singing Aida songs to herself. Then I started thinking of the women I know who have second homes in St. George. I then broke a commandment (thou shalt not covet).
I’ve always dreaded retirement until I realized that St. George could be a place that I could feel happy about retiring to. The redrock and the roundabout with the split rock along with the fact that there’s a Harmon’s and a Super Target in town (requirements).
This must be fate – because the next thing that happened I got a friend request on Facebook for my neighbor Barbara Lang Winters. Her specialties are: “Real Estate Brokerage; specializing in; residential sales representing buyers and sellers, real estate auctions, recreation properties and St George Utah retirement & second homes.”
Now if that’s not a sign I’m not sure what is! So it’s determined now that in about 20 years we’ll have a second home in St. George. It will have a swimming pool and a hot tub. We’ll have season tickets to Tuachan. You can come visit us!
Ladies, this is obviously a trend. Hopefully Barbara will still be here by the time we’re ready to act on it.
