One family runs a charitable project each Christmas. They support artisans from countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America by importing their handcrafted Nativity creations and selling them. 100% of profits from this project are given to charitable causes in poor countries. They’ve sold 2,000 already.
The schedule for our Fourth Annual Nativity Tours can be found on our website: www.worldnativity.com. Just click the picture titled “2009 Nativity Tours” to access the schedule and instructions.
The tours run this year from Tuesday, Dec. 1st through Monday, Dec. 28th. If you will be in the Salt Lake City area in December, you can make a reservation for a free 30-minute tour of some of our personal Nativity collection.
This year’s display of 100 sets is completely different from last year’s display. All of our Nativities are handmade from countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
This year we will display many fun Nativities that have unique animals: armadillos, baboons, bears, bulls, burros, coyotes, crocodiles, deer, dragons, elephants, flamingos, gazelles, giraffes, iguanas, hippos, jaguars, lemurs, leopards, lions, ostriches, pigs, porcupines, springbok antelopes, rhinos, warthogs, water buffalos, wild boars, yaks, and zebu cattle.
