The Kaysville City Council began airing its twice-a-month meetings online last week. You’ll be able to watch them streamed live online at www.kaysvilletv.com. How progressive.

Mayor Steve Hiatt said at most 15 people sat in on the first live meeting, but word probably isn’t out yet. Next I hope to see other cities including Fruit Heights offer this.

The city is using a free service called Livestream (there’s also one called UStream that is free too).

The next Kaysville City Council meeting is at 7 p.m. April 6 at City Hall, 23. The story appeared here: http://www.sltrib.com/ci_14749967
